Most Reverend Lucius Iwejuru Ugori

Archbishop of Owerri Metropolitan

Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji was appointed the Archbishop of Owerri on March 6, 2022, by Pope Francis, and officially installed on June 23, 2022, at the Assumpta Cathedral in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

Since then, he has faithfully led the Archdiocese of Owerri with wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to the spiritual growth of the faithful.
